We act for a number of solicitors ranging from sole practitioners to partnerships, LLP's and Limited companies. Our services include general business advice, as well as advice on issues unique to solicitors. Whatever your issue, we have probably dealt with it before.
As a solicitor you will have spent years training and practicing in the legal profession, but this does not guarantee financial success. Such success will also require the development of business and financial management skills. We can help you assess the key factors that impact upon the profitability and cash flow of your business, such as timely billing, debt collection and the level of write-offs.
We also will undertake the requirements of the Law Society under the Solicitors accounts rules for you if your own accountant is not qualified to undertake this work.
We have knowledge of the requirements of the Law Society under the Solicitors Accounts Rules. We can provide you with advice regarding the manner in which the clients' monies must be dealt with, and can undertake regular reviews to ensure that the Solicitors Accounts Rules are being correctly observed. We will also prepare the annual certificate required under the Solicitors Accounts Rules on your behalf.
You will be provided with a comprehensive set of annual accounts detailing your firm's performance. We meet with you to discuss these accounts in order to help you to develop improve the performance of your practice.
Reporting to the Law Society under the Solicitors Accounts Rules is under taken by Langer & Co. All other work is completed by Langers
